Insurance & Practice Policies

Out-of-Network Practice: Clear Air Psychiatry operates on an independent, fee-for-service model. Payment is collected at the time of service. Paying out-of-pocket does not mean paying alone. Most commercial insurance plans and Boston-area university student plans provide substantial out-of-network reimbursement (typically 60%–80% once deductibles are met). HSA and FSA cards are accepted for all appointments.

To remove the administrative friction of insurance, we partner with Mentaya. Instead of manually filing superbills, navigating complex insurance portals, or waiting on hold, their platform verifies your coverage and automatically files and tracks claims on your behalf so reimbursements are deposited directly to your bank account.
