How To Get Started:
Step 1: Request an Appointment
Submit a brief 1-minute request online or call the office directly at (617) 297-7058. Dr. Galati reviews all inquiries and will follow up within 1 business day with scheduling options to book your first appointment.
Step 2: Initial Evaluation (75 Minutes |$450)
An unhurried psychiatric assessment evaluating your symptoms, history, and daily friction points. By the conclusion of this session, we establish your personalized treatment plan and mutually confirm if ongoing care is the right step forward.
*Please note: A formal doctor-patient relationship is established upon mutual agreement at the conclusion of the initial 75-minute evaluation.
Step 3: Tailored Ongoing Care
Ongoing sessions are customized based on the care framework established during your initial evaluation:
Therapy & Medication Management (50 Mins | $350): Our primary session model for collaborative, in-depth care. We combine medical psychopharmacology with evidence-based therapy (CBT, ACT, psychodynamic, and supportive approaches).
For patients seeking functional routine optimization, this time is also used to design and implement Productivity Architecture—clearing cognitive clutter and building sustainable daily systems.
Medication Management (25 Mins | $200): Focused follow-ups to monitor, adjust, and optimize your medication response.
Or call the office at (617) 297-7058 to speak directly or leave a voicemail for a prompt callback.
Out-of-Network Insurance & Payment Policies
Direct Fee-for-Service: Clear Air Psychiatry is an independent, out-of-network practice and does not bill insurance directly.
Superbill Invoices Provided: Itemized monthly superbills containing standard CPT and diagnostic codes are provided for submission to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
HSA & FSA Accepted: You may use Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts for all appointments.
Reimbursement Guidance: Contact your insurer to inquire about out-of-network outpatient psychiatric coverage (common billing codes: 99205 for initial evaluation, 99214 + 90836 for 50-minute follow-ups, 99213 for 25-minute follow-ups).
